The BTEC Level 3 in Sport is a 2 year course which involves education, work experience, practical training and matches. Students who enrol onto this programme will study with us for 12 months, when they complete the qualification they will start the BTEC Level 3 programme the following academic year. The minimum requirements for this course are 2 D’s or above at GCSE level. The course follows the same structure as a college meaning students will find themselves in Monday-Friday within the hours of 9am-4pm term time only. The BTEC Level 2 in Sport is a 1 year course which involves education, work experience, practical training and matches. There are still a handful of places left on the course, more information below Today’s training session started the preparation for Wednesday’s Futsal Festival in Manchester where we will come up against teams such as Preston North End, Blackpool and Fleetwood to name a few. The students will spend 2-3 years based at Accrington Stanley Football Club studying a BTEC L2 or 元 in Sport and compete in both the North West 11aside Football League and Football League Futsal Division. Major fines and/or suspensions, at the sole and absolute discretion of the League Office, shall be levied against players, coaches, or other team officials for conduct detrimental to MLS (whether or not they were cautioned by the referee for such match conduct).Today was the first day of our Football Scholarships which saw around 40 students take part in an induction day and a training session at Hyndburn Leisure Centre.As per The IFAB Laws of the Game, if the offender cannot be identified, the most senior coach in the technical area at the time of the incident will receive the yellow card or red card.Any coach, technical staff or team official acting in an unprofessional manner, in the opinion of the League, shall be subject to a fine and/or suspension as determined by the League Office.Any coach, technical staff member or team official sent off from an MLS match by the referee shall receive a minimum of an automatic one-match suspension and fine. A coach, technical staff member or team official guilty of misconduct may be issued a yellow card or red card by the referee.
